For nearly three decades, Stacey Bartels has committed her life’s work to imagining the possibilities of art and creativity and its affects on life and community. Bartels brings practical and professional experience as an art therapist and teacher working to affect the lives of many of the communities most vulnerable populations – our children.
The magic of artistic expression has been central to Bartels professional work as an educational art therapist. Her work in assisting urban youth, often labeled at-risk or troubled, recognize their own unique gifts and expressions can easily translate into transformative opportunities.
As Bartels approaches retirement, she builds upon her work and advocacy as a therapist to champion artists in branding, positioning and selling their works to collectors, galleries and museums.
